Stella Chavez

Chavez, Stella Age 89, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on July 15, 1923, to Francesca and Jose Alderete. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Fred (Cowboy) Chavez and her son Richard Chavez and her parents. Stella is survived by her children Josie Chavez, Judy Garcia (John), David Chavez (Lori), Leonard Chavez (Dinah), Tommy Chavez (Millie), Gloria Chavez, Loretta Lopez (Ferman) and Fred Chavez Jr.; Grandchildren; Richard, Angel, Albert, Annette, Thomas, Fabian, Melissa, Richie, Fred III, Nicholas, Nathan, Jessica, Danielle, Darla, Tomi, Lucas.; 14 great grandchildren; siblings Pito Santillanes (Josie), Joe Santillanes (Barbara), Martina Santillanes and numerous relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at St. Anne�s Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Road SW at 5:00 p.m. with the rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at St. Anne�s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John, Richard, Nathan, Richie, Fred III, Fabian.
