Stella Zmuda

ZMUDA, STELLA E. Age 105, Stella (Kukla) Zmuda passed away on December 3, 2012 of natural aging causes at the Princeton Place Nursing Home in Albuquerque. She was the wife of the late Joseph Zmuda. They resided in Blackstone, Massachusetts and Gorham, Maine until his passing in 1989 when she moved to Albuquerque. Born October 7, 1907 in Blackstone to the late Frank and Anelia (Drabiec) Kukla, she was preceded in death by her siblings, brother Frank Kukla and sisters Helen Vetovis, Valeria Blazejewski, and Sarah Vetovis, and two daughters, Janice Dobeck Flynn of Albuquerque and Sheila McGonagle of Dunellon, FL. She is survived by a son, Joseph F. Zmuda, Jr. of Albuquerque, and three grandsons, Dennis Flynn, Matthew Zmuda of Albuquerque and Jason Zmuda of Annapolis, MD. A Memorial Mass will take place at John 23rd Catholic Community on Saturday, December 8 at 10 am. Cremains burial will be private at a later date at St. Paul's Cemetery, Blackstone Mass.
