ZUCARRO_ Stephanie Catherine Zuccaro, age 98, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away November 26, 2015 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Stephanie was born March 22, 1917 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Holody) Florek. In 1934, Stephanie graduated from the High School of Commerce in Detroit. During WWII, she worked in the War Department, and then later she worked at Mt. Clemens Metal Products. Stephanie last worked with the MaComb Country Sheriff’s Department until her retirement. In 1984, Stephanie moved to Rio Rancho. She was active with the Rio Rancho VFW Auxiliary, Meadowlark Senior Center and the Red Hat Society. She also was an avid Bingo player and she carried her Polish heritage by faithfully following the Lawrence Welk programs. Most of all, though, Stephanie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her primary focus even while she kept a busy schedule.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Zuccaro in 1977. Stephanie is survived by her children; Ronald A. Zuccaro and Rosemarie A. Zuccaro; three grandchildren, Ryan Tatum, Melissa Donah, John Tatum; and six great grandchildren, Nathan, Kayleen, Tyler, Natalie, Evan and Grace. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service which is 11 am Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Road Chapel. Entombment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
