Stephen C. Liptak

LIPTAK - Stephen C. Liptak, 83, passed away on January 1, 2010. He was born September 18, 1926, in Clifton, NJ, to Stephen and Mary (Kozak) Liptak. Stephen was a resident of Albuquerque since 1982. He was a Marine during WWII, serving in the Pacific Theatre. Stephen was also a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church and gardening was one of his favorite pastimes. He is survived by son, Charlie Bihun (Aura) and their children Charles and Christina of St. Thomas, PA, daughters, Marsha Merillat (Jeff) of Albuquerque, NM, and Sharon Duffy (Richard) of Golden, CO, and her children, Cheryl Brandes and Joel Monroe, sister, Janet Bothner (Karl) of Danbury, CT, and brother, James Liptak (Phyllis) of Hopatcong, NJ. Stephen is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Ann, in 2002.
