Stephen Charles Reider

Stephen Charles Reider (Steve), age 54, died suddenly on October 18, 2014.  He was born on August 16, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois.  He is survived by his parents Bill and Helene Reider and sisters Barbara Dye (Wade) and Laurie Valdez, nephews Joseph Barbarone, Christopher Barbarone, Jonathan Reider, Michael Reider, James Reider, Daniel Reider and niece Tiana Valdez.He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Reider. Steve was known by his many friends as always willing to help on a moment’s notice.  He had a quick sense of humor and always enjoyed making people laugh.  He was an accomplished guitar player and was gaining special notice as a bass guitarist.  A Memorial service will be held at Glory Christian Fellowship, 2417 Wyoming N.E., on Saturday, October 25, at 2:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glory Christian Fellowship for its Orphanage in Kenya, Africa.
