Stephen L. Simmons

SIMMONS- Stephen L. Simmons (Master Chief- Retired USN) crossed his final finish line January 8, 2011 at the age of 62 after losing his battle with cancer. He was born September 11, 1948 in Albuquerque, NM. Preceded on the path he will reunite with his father, Delbert Eli Simmons; mother, Virginia Adams; grandparents, George and Hazel Hobbs. Master Chief Stephen L. Simmons served his country in the USN for 22 years with numerous medals and accommodations. He is survived by his stepfather, John D. Adams; children, Stephen Eli Simmons and Jason Simmons; grandchildren Devin Patricia Moles, Skylar Yvette Simmons, Morgan Paige Simmons and Steven Arthur Simmons; brothers, Troy A. Simmons, Robert E. Simmons and David Adams; sister, Kathy Morgan and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. A Military Honorary interment at Santa Fe National Cemetary on March 25, 2011, at 2:00 p.m..
