Sterling Lewis White

Sterling "Buzz" White, 79, of Bloomfield, passed from this life Monday, January 25, 2010. He was born in the town of Kit Carson, CO. to Jessie Bell (Brown) and Charles Otto White. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his sisters, Goldie Earlene Pennington of Farmington, and Edna M. Atmore WAde of Gallatin Tenn. He is also survived by his nephews, Arlis Pennington and his wife, Kudy, of Farmington, Rick Atmore of Cimarron Allen Atmore and his wife, Dorthy, and Jerry Atmore, all of Gallatin; and by his former companion, Jeannie and her son, Scotty. Sterling, a Korean War veteran, received two Bronze Star medals while serving in the U.S. Army from March 13, 1951 to March 18, 1953. Sterling was a very warm and loving brother and friend. Many knew him as having a wonderful personality and sense of humor. His laughing blue eyws and sweet smile will be greatly missed. Cremation will take place under the care of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 804 N. Dustin Ave., Farmington, New Mexico.
