Steve V. Wersonick
August 30, 1955 — May 13, 2021
Stephen (Steve) Wersonick, age 65, passed away suddenly at his home on May 13, 2021. Steve is survived by his mother, Evelyn Wersonick, his brothers Mike and Gary Wersonick, two nephews, Daniel and David Richard, his much loved ex-wife, Rose Wersonick, his aunt, Ann Vigil, and many cousins.
Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vincent and Alma Vigil, his brothers, David Thomas Wersonick and Brian Patrick Moody, and sister, Christine (Christy) Wersonick-Baca.
Steve worked at Digital Corp. for 19 years as a Computer Technician, SBS Technologies for several years as an avionics technician, and as a Locksmith at Vigil’s Safe and Key, the family business, for the last 15+ years.
Steve loved music, often making mixed tapes and CD’s for his friends and was a home DJ. He also loved windsailing, skiing and snow-boarding. He was also an avid cook and often competed with his brothers, Mike and Brian for the title of best cook in the family.
Until we meet again, we will love and miss him forever.
A Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 10 AM at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery at 2:30 PM.
