Age 45, passed away December 23, 2014. He was born August 27, 1969, in Espanola, NM to Peggy and Johnny Branchal. Steven is survived by his father Johnny; brother, Robert Branchal (Kelly); sister, Connie Branchal (Walter); sister, Margaret Chavez (Steve); sister, JoAnna Branchal; nephews: Daniel Branchal (Caroline), Anthony Garcia, Stephen Chavez (Ariel), Christopher Espinoza (GODSON), Adam Branchal, Jaeson Chavez, Nathan Branchal; nieces: Emily Lenhardt (Dustin), Marlinda Garcia (Issac), Amanda Espinoza (GODDAUGHTER), Dominica Chavez, Tabatha Cordova (Joseph); 10 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Peggy Branchal. Steven was from the small community of Chama, NM. He was very well known throughout the community because he was so helpful to everyone. He helped put in the pews at St. Patrick’s Parish where he was an active member and Usher. He plowed snow for anyone that needed it and was a jack of all trades to anybody that needed his help. He graduated from Northern New Mexico Community College in 1989. He wore many hats as a meat cutter, machinist, auto mechanic and jewelry maker. He was devoted to caring for his parents and Godchildren. He was very proud to hold the title NINO. His family is heartbroken over his loss and Steven will be greatly missed. So when you are looking for him, he has “Gone Fishing” with God. A Rosary will be recited Monday, January 5, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Parish, Chama, NM. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., St. Patrick’s Parish, Chama, NM. Officiate will be Father Clement Niggel. Daniels Family Funeral Services
