Steven Michael Himes

Steven Michael Himes, 43, of Bloomfield passed away at him home on Monday, January 10, 2011 after several months of poor health. He was born March 20, 1967 in Logan, Utah to Ellvert and Kay Himes. He spent most of his school years in Bloomfield and graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1985. Steven enjoyed math, computers, art, music and playing his bass guitar. Steven has lived and worked in Phoenix, AZ, Albuquerque, NM, and has spent his last 13 years in Bloomfield. He is survived by his parents, Ellvert and Kay Himes of Bloomfield; his sisters Shelley (Dennis) Collier of Bloomfield, Christine (Michael) Banks of Onalaska, WI, and brothers Jeff (Keri) of Buhl, ID, Robert (Kelly) of Oil City, PA, Randy (Cindy) of Orem, UT, Scott (Angela) of Provo, UT, Mark (Jill) of Parker, CO, and numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends. Funeral services for Steven will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 804 W. Blanco Blvd in Bloomfield with Bishop Larry Lee conducting. Steven will then be laid to rest at the Bloomfield Community Cemetery in Bloomfield.
