Susan Kuhnee (Suzy-Q) passed away peacefully at the age of 69 on April 26, 2016 in Rio Rancho, NM surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle against lung cancer.  She is preceded in death by daughter, Melissa McMahon; father, Arthur Geis; mother, Dorothy Geis; niece, Catherine Gregory; and nephew, Eric Post.  She is survived by husband, Tom Kuhnee of Rio Rancho, NM; daughter, Jennifer Wood of Kalamazoo, MI; step-daughter, Tanya Kuhnee of Albuquerque, NM; step-son, Charlie Kuhnee of Jackson, MI; sister, Carol Gregory (Michael Piel) of Dallas, TX; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  She and Tom were married for nineteen years.  Susan served as a salesperson in the electrical industry.  She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and friends, collecting shoes, listening to Elvis and country music.  In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions in her name to The American Lung Association.  A funeral service will be held at Community of Joy Lutheran Church in Rio Rancho on Saturday, May 7th at 11:00 am.
