Susan Madey

Susan Madey returned to our glorious Father in heaven on June 13, 2009. She was born on April 7, 1945 in Gallup. Susan lived her life giving rather than receiving. She enjoyed praying and worshiping the Lord. She loved cooking, baking, and helping people in any possible way. Susan loved being with her family; She was very compassionate, sincerely forward, nonjudgmental, and quick to forgive. Susan was an inspiring woman to all of her family and friends and she will be missed enormously. Susan's compassionate ways of living will continue in the hearts and lives of all the people she touched. Survivors include her husband Henry Madey; sons Alfredo DuBois, Antonio DuBois, and Robert Gallegos; daughters Bernadette DuBois-Munoz, Nicki Rascon, and Mercedes Dalton. Susan had six Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren; sisters Margaret R Moreno, Sally J Gallegos, & Theresa Trujillo. Susan was preceded in death by parents Prudencio and Sally Gallegos; brothers Daniel Gallegos and Salvador Gallegos; sister Margaret Gallegos; and son Joseph Nanez. Pallbearers include Alfredo DuBois, Phillip DuBois, Robert Cupp, John Trujillo, Joe Suarez IV, and Jose Romero. Honorary Pallbearers include Antonio DuBois, Francisco Munoz and David Silva.
