Ted Chee Mace

MACE- Ted Chee Mace, age 61, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Ted was born in Star Lake, NM on July 23, 1947, and was resident of Ojo Encino, NM. He was self-employed, and enjoyed ranching, Community and Tribal support service work. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Rita Mace; Thomas, Roy, Frank, and Johnny Mace. Ted is survived by his loving wife Lenora K. Mace; his son Alex P. Mace; his daughters, Valerie Tafoya and husband Richard and Zorana Kanesta and husband Ree; his grandchildren, Sara, Kirk, Tristen and Tyrell. Also surviving are his brothers, Joe, Cecil, Jasper, and Harvey Mace; his sisters, Jean Benally, Lorraine Conant, and Fannie Mace; and numerous extended family members and friends. Ted will be greatly missed by all. Casket Bearers will be Rick Tafoya, Elliot Murphy, Antonio Mace, Malcolm Benally, William Coon, Eugene Mace, Tyson Mace, and Jeremy Mace.
