Terri Therese Clark was born in Show Low, AZ on March 7, 1973 to Alex and Ida Clark. The family relocated to Los Lunas, NM in 1977. Terri graduated from Los Lunas High in 1992, where she was the first and only black homecoming queen.
Terri was a devoted mother to her three children; Tyraa, Josiah, and TaShawn. After high school, Terri worked at Smith's for fourteen years, and Wal-Mart for six years, but her favorite job was being a caretaker to her sister Emily. Terri went competition fishing with her dad weekly. Although she never won, that didn't stop the weekly trips to the lake. She was an excellent cook and made the best pot pies, rice with meat, and red chile. Terri kept pops looking fly and had a phenomenal shoe game. If you ran into her, she always had a cap on and that infectious smile. Terri was the most significant contributor to mom's rooster collection, even surprising her with a rooster as tall as her. She was a blessing to the neighborhood, where she often helped the neighbors by mowing their lawn or helping them with yard work. Terri was devoted to her family and friends and always helped those in need. Terri had a heart the size of a full moon and loved bigger than this earth. She was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important – the simplicity of living a life with those you love.
Terri is preceded in death by her son Josiah, nephew Jelani and her grandparents: Alex and Lucy Clark, Juan Kline, and Emma Kline-Olivas.
Terri is survived by her loving children, Tyraa and TaShawn; parents, Alex and Ida Clark; sisters, Emily and Stephanie; Brother-in-law, AJ; nieces, Jada and Anida; and many other loved ones.
