Age 97, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014. She was born in Lubbock, TX on July 22, 1917, to Robert and Ella Russell. Thelma moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1942. She was preceded in death by her daughter Yvonne. Thelma is survived by daughter Sue Converse of Albuquerque, NM; two grand-daughters Debbie Tixier (Mike) and Denise Roberts (Jerry); 5 Great-Grandchildren Tanner Tixier (Amy), Tyler Tixier, Trevor Tixier, J.D Roberts, and Chance Roberts; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren Tighlyn Tixer and Cameron Tixier. She was a woman of great intestinal fortitude and strength having grown up during the great depression. She was most proud of her family, her home, and her career with TWA Airlines for 34 years. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November, 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm, Covenant United Methodist Church, 8510 Wyoming NE 87113.
