Theresa Ann Dial

Theresa Ann Dial, 53, of Aztec, passed away on Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, peacefully at home after a lengthy battle with cancer, surrounded by those who loved her. She was born April 23, 1957 in Crestline, Ohio, the daughter of Billy Ray Payne and Eliva Jean Barker. Theresa was kindred soul who thrived outdoors, was an avid gardener and loved Mother Nature. She had a way with animals unlike any other. She loved to read and chat with all. She was the best mother, grandmother, sister and wife anyone could have. She was a best friend to all who knew her. Theresa always had a fire within and loved unconditionally. She was very outspoken and could outwit just about anybody. She was preceded in death by her father; and her sister Janice Jackson. Theresa is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Kelly (LJ) McGowan; and one grandchild; son, Brian Magee; stepson, Richard Keith Dial; stepdaughters, Allison Ashbaker, Tiffany King, and Jesse Dial; her mother, Eliva Barker; brother, JT Barker, Brett Barker, Ray Payne and Rodney Barker; sisters, Debbie Tourk, Sue Fletcher, Rena Woodham, Kateira Payne; and eight step-grandchildren. Rev. Jeff Symonds will be officiating. Pallbearers are John Keating, Tim Cooley, Susan Tourk, Lisa Tourk, LJ McGowan and George Tourk.
