Theresa Marie Larson

Theresa Larson was born in Del Rio, Texas and was raised in North Carolina. It was there that she met her husband at a local Catholic Church in December 1967, and they married in February 1969. Throughout their 42 years of marriage they travelled the states, had 2 daughters, and settled in Farmington, New Mexico. Her career in medicine began as a licensed lab tech in New Bern, NC. She attended schools in D.C., CA, PA, and NM. She preferred working as a home healthcare nurse and she treated everyone as though they were family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy, and her sister, Emily Wetzel. She is survived by her husband, John, their two daughters Rhodonna and Dorinda and their spouses, Levi Thorson and Nicholas Cash, and their children, Kael, Joel, Nolan, Jaivan, Ken, and Kairi. Her father Melvin Wetzel, her brother Melvin Wetzel, and her sisters Cathy Erickson, Mary Johnson, and Marilyn Davis. Rosary and viewing will be held at Brewer, Lee, & Larkin Funeral Home on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 7 pm at 103 East Ute St. Cremation will take place and a memorial mass for Theresa will be Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at St. Mary's Parish on 2100 East 20th St. in Farmington, at 11 am.
