Theresa L. Martinez

MARTINEZ-Theresa L. Martinez, age 79, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, was called home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 6, 2008. She was born in San Luis, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo. Theresa enjoyed walking, camping, and cooking, she was well known for her homemade tamales, which she sold to numerous friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Leonor Lovato; her husband whom passed away August 3, 2008 Daniel Martinez; her first husband Joe Valdez; a son, Raymond Joe Valdez; and a brother, Elizadio Lovato. Theresa is survived by her loving children, Julia Marquez and husband Eddie, Emma Torres and husband Randy, Orlando Valdez and wife Darlene; step-children, Lorraine Maestas and Danny Estrada; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Dorella Garcia; a brother, Joe Albert Lovato; and numerous other beloved relatives and friends. Theresa will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose hearts she touched. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Chavez, Steven Torres, Ricky Garcia, Randy Torres Jr., Raul Torres, and Carlos Torres. Honorary Bearers will be, Orlando Valdez, Jr., Steven Marquez, Don Marhefka, and Danny Estrada. Funeral Services are entrusted to:
