Therese Emily Barela

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Therese Emily Barela who was born on November 30, 1958, and passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 66.

Therese was a devoted daughter to her loving parents, Romulo and Reina Barela and a cherished sister to her eight siblings: Mable, Eusebio, Nancy, Leandro, Sandra , Ruby, Martina and Romulo III. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. She was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.  

She was the beloved mother of Catalina and a proud and loving grandmother to her precious granddaughters, Gabriella and Jade. Therese’s family was the center of her world, and she filled their lives with love, wisdom, and endless encouragement.

 Therese’s life was a testament to resilience, grace, and the power of faith. A devout Catholic, her unwavering belief in God was the cornerstone of her life. She prayed the rosary daily and found peace and joy in her relationship with the Lord. Her gentle and kind nature touched everyone she met, and her ability to bring warmth and comfort into every room reflected the depth of her heart and the beauty of her soul.

 To her family and friends, Therese was a source of light, love, and unwavering faith. Her enduring faith and radiant smile inspired all who knew her, and her ability to make people feel seen and valued left an indelible mark on their lives.

 Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she loved. Therese leaves behind a legacy of hope, strength, and love that will forever guide her family. To her daughter Catalina and her granddaughters Gabriella and Jade, she was not only a guiding light but also a source of infinite love and inspiration.

 May her memory be a blessing, and may she rest in eternal peace.  

The family kindly requests that those attending the services wear lavender, her favorite color, as a tribute to her beautiful spirit.
