Thomas "Strut" A. Baca

Thomas A. Baca, age 68, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, went to be with the Lord, Monday, September 1, 2014. He was born in Holbrook, AZ and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM. Thomas was a proud Veteran of the United States Army who served his country during the VietNam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 13; a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans in Socorro, NM; and a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6216. Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Bertha L Baca; his daughter, Alexis Rose; his granddaughter, Alondra and fianc�e Chad; his great-grandchildren, Layla, Jaellyn, and Chad, Jr.; his brother, Larry Baca; brother-in-law, Chris Padilla and wife Prescilla; many other relatives and a host of friends. Thomas will be greatly missed by all. A Rosary will be recited Friday, September 12, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church,562 Atrisco Dr., SW, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 9:45 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
