Thomas Francis Boselli

February 17, 1954 — April 13, 2025

Thomas Francis Boselli passed away at home peacefully surrounded by his family on April 13, 2025.

Tom was born in San Francisco, California on February 17, 1954, the second of twelve children to Bud and Betty Boselli. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, four loving daughters - Sheila (Heath), Alyssa (Donovan), Candice (Rex), and Natalie (Derek); seven grandchildren - Gabriella, Lauren, Abby, Shiloh, Azriela, John, and Owen; his mother, Betty; seven brothers - Rick (Denise), Don (Rose), Jim (Dee), John (Colleen), Steve (Maureen), Bob (Erin), and Bill (Wendi); and three sisters - Liz (Michael), Sue, and Sharon (Harold), and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary, and his father, Bud.

Tom grew up in the San Francisco area and loved to go into the city with his dad. While his dad worked, Tom would roam the piers of San Francisco with his fishing pole and crab net in hand going to the back doors of restaurants to get bait. He discovered his love of fishing and the outdoors as a Boy Scout. His first fishing pole was a combination spin and fly rod. He hiked many miles of the Sierra Nevada mountains as a young man and loved the outdoors. He also loved to ski. Many stories were shared of trips with his dad and brothers and sisters to ski in the Tahoe area.

Tom was a hard working man with a strong work ethic. His first job was as a paper boy in West Lake. In high school he worked in a liquor store and then after graduating from high school managed several McDonalds in the Bay Area. He left San Francisco in his mid-20’s and headed for the mountains of Colorado where he worked in the Marriott Hotel in Vail as a night clerk so that he could ski during the day. His ambitious nature led him to a managerial position in McDonalds in Vail and eventually he began his retail entrepreneurship by opening a small gift shop in the Marriott Hotel. That gift shop opened the door for him in the ski resort retail business.

Tom was a man of integrity, honor and faith. He successfully developed and operated retail clothing stores in the ski resorts of Vail, Breckenridge, and Aspen for 20 years. After selling his business in Colorado, he moved to Albuquerque in 1999 and began using his talents and hard work ethic into becoming a successful financial advisor until he retired in 2021.

Tom met Sharon in 2003 through a mutual friend, and after the first date, they never looked back. They married in 2004 and spent the next 21 years building a life together with their children, grandchildren and friends. Their life together over the last 21 years was filled with love, laughter, adventure, family and friends.

In his retirement, Tom spent many hours riding his bicycle, hiking the mountains of Colorado, fishing the rivers of New Mexico, Colorado, and Alaska, and working his property in the North Valley of Albuquerque. He loved to stay busy and was able to repair or build almost anything. Traveling was a passion for Tom. He loved the planning and the executing of a great vacation. Last year alone he visited a large portion of Africa, Hawaii, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands. He loved God and knew Jesus Christ as his savior, but mostly he loved his family unconditionally. Tom’s passing leaves an unfillable hole in his family, and he will be missed terribly.
