Thomas George Daubert

DAUBERT-Thomas G. Daubert, age 77, passed away at the V.A. Hospital on Friday September 10, 2010, by his side, his loving wife of 38 years; Emilia Daubert. Thomas was born on May 10, 1933 in the Bronx, NY. He was an active volunteer for the V.A. for 12 years, President of the United Veterans Council, D.A.V. Department Commander, Chapter #3 commander, V.A.V.S. representative, Golden Rodent, Imperial Rodent for the trench rats, Commander of V.F.W. 401 and many more services to this country; too numerous to mention. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife Emilia; his daughter Elizabeth Parker; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is further survived by many relatives and friends. Thomas was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle and friend, he was a proud veteran and was always ready to serve is country. He will be missed by all who knew and were touched by him. Pallbearers will be, Bill Barker, Keith Wilmot, Gilly Otterstetter, John Aragon, Stan Gambling, Morris Archuleta and honorary pallbearer, Julian Martinez. A visitation will take place in the 8Th Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary Sunday September 12, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a reciting of the Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Monday September 13, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. also at Garcia Mortuary, Interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
