Passed away in his home December 2, 2013 at the age of 94. His wife of 65 years, Gloria, passed way in September of 2012. He is survived by daughters Regina & Sylvia; son-in-laws, Tom & Serge; granddaughter, Irene; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, sister, Julia. Thomas was born in Lexington, Virginia, and lived a very full life. Starting out as a paper boy and a soda jerk, "Steve", as he was known to some, served in the Navy in WWII and Korean War, and accomplished a degree in Mortuary Science. A new future arose during the cold war with the Atomic Energy Commission at Salton Sea in California. He moved his family to Albuquerque in 1961 where he spent 35 years at Sandia National Laboratories. After retirement he and his wife traveled and served their community. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to all who were supportive during this time. your kindness will always be remembered. A private family ceremony is planned at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Please no flowers.
