Thomas Tibble, age 74 passed away on May 9, 2009 in Farmington, New Mexico. He died from complications of a stroke. He was born May 24, 1934 to the late Clarence and Helen (nee Lingerman) Tibble in Joliet, Illinois. Survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Dolores (nee Tichy) Tibble, cherished daughters, Jodie (Allan) Bertucci and Michelle DeLara (fianc�?© Gary Colucci) dearest grandchildren, Michael (Rebecca) Tibble, Kaitlyn DeLara and Nikolas Bertucci. Also surviving are his brothers, Robert (Barb), Alvin (Sandra), and his sisters, Marlene Franzen and Sandra Wisneski and brother-in-law, John (Vivian) Tichy. In addition, numerous relatives and wonderful friends survive him. Tom attended A.O. Marshall Grade School and Joliet Township High School. He was in the Air Force from 1952 - 1956 and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. After that, Tom was an owner of Communications, Technicians and Consultants (CTC) in Joliet, Illinois for 15 years. He then worked for Commonwealth Edison until his retirement in 1992 where he then moved to Farmington, New Mexico. Tom enjoyed many hobbies among them were piloting his own airplane, prospecting in the Southwest Four Corners and golfing. He was very proud of his two Hole-in-Ones at the Civitan Golf Course in Farmington. Tom enjoyed golfing several times a week during his retirement with his special golf buddies at the Civitan Golf Course. Tom also received much enjoyment from spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Tom's wishes were to be cremated.
