Thomas (Tom, Tommy) E. Ferdinand

Thomas (Tom, Tommy) E. Ferdinand, beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle, passed away at his home in Rio Rancho, NM surrounded by his family on 17 June 2022.

Tom was born in Long Island, NY on 1 Feb 1948 to Bernard and Irene Ferdinand. He moved to New Mexico in 1980.

He was a telecommunications specialist by trade, but also dabbled in truck driving and security, which led to him meeting and protecting numerous TV and movie stars in New York. He was also an avid weightlifter and made the 1980 USA Olympic Weight Lifting Team as an alternate.

But his true love was riding the open road on a chopper he built. Tom built many choppers through his lifetime.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Teri Anderson; his son Vincent Ferdinand and wife Kim; his daughter, Nicole Ferdinand; and eight beautiful granddaughters.

Tom was respected by all who met and knew him. Tom will be sorely missed and is loved so much. Rest in peace and I will see you on the other side. I love you.
