Thu Thi Le

LE- Thu Thi Le, age 62, died at University Hospital on Saturday, December 13, 2008, following a courageous battle with lupus that lasted more than 5 years. She was born October 10, 1946 in Phan Thiet, Vietnam. She graduated from college and was a school teacher in her native Vietnam. She overcame the hardships of war and brought her family to the United States in 1980 to give her children an opportunity at freedom. Thu is proceeded by her oldest daughter, Truc. She is survived by her husband, Nhiem Tran, her son, Lam Tran, her daughter and her husband, Thuy Tran and Jimmy Nyguyen, her daughter, Nancy Tran, and her son, Thomas Tran.
