Tillie Olivas

Tillie Olivas, age 85, a life long resident of Albuquerque, NM went to be with our Lord and Savior Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Tillie is survived by her loving husband Robert of 59 years; sons, Robert J. Olivas Jr. and wife Sherly, Anthony E. Olivas, Frank D. Olivas, Philip W. Olivas, Daniel L. Olivas and wife Christa; daughter, Vivian R. Garcia and husband Paul Sr.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Tillie was preceded in death by her son, Steve M. Olivas. Tillie was a very compassionate and loving person who adored her family and loved spending time with them. She was an Albuquerque High School graduate and remained a huge Bulldog fan. Tillie will be greatly missed by numerous family and friends and all that knew and loved her. A Visitation will take place at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels, Sunday, July 24, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a reciting of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m.; Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW, Monday, July 25, 2011, at 10:30 a.m.; with Interment to follow at Mont Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers are Paul Garcia Jr., Robert Olivas III, Jacob Olivas, Chris Olivas, Estevan Olivas and Eric Mather. Tillie's care has been entrusted to:
