TIMOTHY BERNARD “TIM” BAKER, 65, of Rio Rancho, NM returned home to his Lord on Tuesday. He was born on September 16, 1951, in Rochester, NY. Tim was married to his high school sweetheart, Debbie, for 43 years, and they lived with their children in Walworth, NY, before moving to Rio Rancho. In 2008, Tim became a proud papa to his grandson and ‘best buddy’, Jude. Above all else, Tim was devoted to God and his family. His strength and optimism were unfailing and he shared the gifts of his faith, compassion and kindness with all who knew him. Tim was a loving husband, caring father and grandfather, and loyal friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Elaine Baker, sister, Siobhan Baker and brother, Edward Baker. Tim’s beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of his wife, Deborah; children, Francis (Karie Knotts) Baker, Tara (Manny) Alderete; grandson, Jude Alderete; brothers and sisters, Francis (Diane) Baker, Thomas (Elizabeth) Baker, Susan (Frederick) Holderle, Sally (David) Maine; mother-in-law; step father-in-law; brothers-in-law; a host of many devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A rosary will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, and a mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1001 Meteor Ave NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144. A reception will be held Thursday following mass at 77 Castle Rock Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. A celebration of Tim’s life will be held Saturday November 19, 2016 at 6193 Mulberry Park Drive, Braselton, GA 30517.
