Timothy Jacob Chavez

Mr. Timothy (Tim) Chavez, loving Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, and Friend went home to be with the Lord on Sunday September 4th 2022 at the age of 46. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on April 10th 1976.

Tim was an avid sports fan, and even tried his hand at a few back in his prime. But ultimately had to stick to trading cards. Tim attended Albuquerque High, and was an employee at Intel, where he specialized in OSHA compliance as a Safety Technician. Tim was often times a pain, but loved his family more than anything, and made sure not a day went by without an “I love you” from him.

Tim is survived by his two sons Tj and Jacob Chavez. Mother, Louise Chavez. Brother Joseph, and his wife Kristina Santillanes. Sister, Patricia Santillanes. Niece, Shaylene Santillanes, and nephews Eric, and Kobe Santillanes… and can’t forget his two sidekicks Rocco, and Willie Nelson, whom he simply loved and adored.

Tim was a member of Sagebrush Church. Tim's wish was to be cremated, and a celebration of life, as well as a burial will be held at a later time. More information will follow for anyone wanting to attend.

Tim’s death has taken us to dark places, yet we will stick together and protect one another as we try to make sense of this tragic loss. He was still young and had so much life to live, but unfortunately GOD called him home. We never wish to feel the paralyzing pain that engulfs our bodies, a pain so severe that it makes the simple act of breathing difficult or the guilt that leaves us wondering what could have been different, or the struggle to remember the last words we spoke… Our hearts are beyond broken. Tim, we hope you know just how much you meant to us. We promise to continue your legacy, and ensure that your boys are cared for, and will always know how much you loved them. We will always love you, and hope that you find peace in the arms of God.
