Tiofila Sanchez

Tiofila Sanchez, age 95, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 19, 2014. She was born in Costilla, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM where she was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Larivas; son-in-laws, Joe Larivas and Martin Aguilar. Tiofila is survived by her loving children, Dolores Deuel and husband Ross B., Juan Vialpando and wife Esther, Mannie Aguilar, Corrine Lovato and husband Bobby, Leon Vialpando, Floyd Vialpando and wife Rose; 16 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Irene Aragon; niece, Josie Hoyle; and numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Tiofila will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose hearts she touched. Visitation will be held today, Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM, where a Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. then followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Martin Aguilar, Vicente Vialpando, Ross J. Deuel, John Vialpando, Daniel Vialpando, and David Vialpando. Honorary Bearers will be Haleigh Vialpando, Michelle Ortiz, and Isabella Vialpando.
