Todd Wesley Offerle,55, of Bloomfield passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011, at San Juan Regional Medical Centerof an infection that went to his heart. He was born October 26, 1955, in Meeker, Colorado, to Bob and Vonnie Offerle.
Todd had many enjoyments in his life, the movie Christmas Story (You'll Shoot Your Eye Out!), starting projects, so that others can finish them, 4-H, Boy Scouts, football, Go Denver Broncos, the outdoors, Ninja Pica's, County Fair, hunting (anything), NWTF, family, telling stories, harassing people, talking on the phone and talking on the phone!.
There was never a day that he complained about how he was feeling (I am doing all right.")
He was always happy and enjoyed life. He was a true inspiration to all that knew him. He always had a smile on his face and never knew a stranger.
He was preceded to Heaven's gate by his grandparents,Anna Offerle and Walter and Alma Stack; his parents and several other loved ones.
He is survived by the love of his life, Rita Taylor; her parents; daughters, Jennifer Kennedy, and Tammy Atencio; son, Tyler Offlere; sisters, brothers, and many special nieces, nephews, and friends.
The help from all his family and friends through the years with his MS was greatly appreciated.
There will be a meal for the friends and family following the service at the church.
The family will be dressing in camo attire in honor of Todd's love of hunting and the outdoors. Please feel free to join them or even wear Denver Bronco apparel.
