Sanchez, Tom E. Tom E. Sanchez was born March 3, 1932 and died September 18, 2014. He was the son of Victoriano B. Sanchez and Balbina Sanchez, nee Palladini. He was surrounded by his wife of 58 years and his three daughters. He had a career as a nurseryman working for Rowlands Nursery for over 50 years. He had hundreds of loyal customers that he helped with their yards and gardens. He himself was an avid gardener and a talented painter. A lifelong resident of Old Town, he is survived by his wife, Irene; his three daughters, Regina-daughter #1, Jeannette-daughter #2 and Carol-daughter #3; and their dog, Rosie, who brought him much joy. He will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, plant a tree in his honor or nurture your own garden and toast him with your favorite beer. Services will be held at San Felipe de Neri church in Old Town. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 23rd. The Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 AM held September 24th with Fr. Dennis Garcia, celebrant.
