69, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. He was born in Socorro, NM on August 19, 1945 to Ambroscio and Dora (Bordeaux) Armijo. Tomas was a lifelong resident of Socorro. He never met a stranger and was friends with everyone. He enjoyed fishing and was pretty good at wood works and ceramics. Tomas was a jokester. He was a Dallas Cowboy fan. Tomas will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Dora; and his brothers, Elmer; Gilbert; Ralph; and Floyd. Tomas is survived by his devoted brothers, Johnny; Ivan; Roy; Ted and wife, Christine; and Edwin and wife, Edwina; his loving sisters, Virginia Hildebrandt; Olita Jojola and husband, Patrick; and Laura Taylor and husband, Bob; his father, Ambroscio; and many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and close friends. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church Socorro, 203 Spring Street, Socorro. Interment will follow in the Socorro Cemetery. Pallbearers are Gilbert Armijo, Edwin Armijo Jr, Floyd Armijo Jr, Dominick Armijo; Uriah Armijo; and Andres Vergara.
