Tracy Lynn Crawford

Tracy Lynn Crawford, age 54, passed away on March 28, 2024. She was born on May 28, 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Barbara and Jahn Wright. 

Tracy is survived by her husband, James Crawford, her daughters Kaylynn Crawford and Alyssa Crawford-Paree, her parents Jahn and Barbara Wright, her brother Michael Wright, and her niece Vivienne Wright and nephew Grayson Wright. 

 Tracy was an outstanding mother and educator. She founded and ran Roots and Wings Montessori Preschool in Redwood City, CA. It won the award for best preschool in Redwood City in every year that she ran it – six years in a row. She cared deeply about the children and staff at her school and worked tirelessly to encourage creativity, growth, and exploration in her students. 

 Tracy was also a wonderful wife and mother. She nurtured her family’s home for over 20 years while raising her daughters in a deeply loving and supportive environment; and she raised them to be independent, strong women. 

 Tracy loved quilting, and created some amazingly beautiful quilts over the years – many of which were given away to family, friends, and worthy causes. She also spent time volunteering at cat shelters and loved her pets.

 A memorial service for Tracy will be held Friday April 5 at 2:00pm at Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church in Rio Rancho New Mexico – 1004 24th St. SE, Rio Rancho, NM. All are invited.

 Tracy cared deeply about the environment, early childhood education, and taking care of cats in need of adoption. In lieu of flowers, please donate to one of the following charities:
