Travis Jackson Cato Jr

Travis Jackson Cato Jr. 60, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2013. He was born in McAlester, OK on June 21, 1953 to Travis J. Sr. and Lita Joyce (Pendergrass) Cato. Travis was a college graduate of Arkansas Tech and NM Tech School of Mining and Technology. He held a Bachelors degree in Geology. He was an amazing geologist, silversmith, and professional photographer. He collected and made knives in his spare time. Travis contributed many gems and artifacts to the Museum at NM Tech. He was a very loving person and wonderful husband. He was preceded in death by his parents.
