Few, Trevor E. (Ted)
Age 95, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 10, 2016. Ted was born in 1921 in Elkhart, IN. He was employed as a machinist in Detroit, MI until World War II; he enlisted in 1942 with the U.S. Navy and served until the end of the war. Ted married his sweetheart, Lucille, on December 2, 1943 and celebrated almost 73 years. During his business career, Ted owned an automotive transportation company; worked as a farmer; was a co-owner of Fiesta Lanes in Albuquerque, NM for which he received an architectural award for design. Ted then embarked on a car sales business in Glendale, AZ for a number of years. Then they returned and moved to Belen, NM. The inactivity of retirement led him to a new career at the age of 82 with Brinks Security for several years. Ted is survived by his loving wife, Lucille James Few; his children, Jim and Richard Few; grandchildren: Lindsay, Christopher and William Travis; four great grandchildren: Blakely, Thomas, David, and Chloe Jade. He was preceded in death by his grandchild Jared Scott Few. A Memorial Service will be held at Fairwinds, 920 Riverview Dr. SE, Rio Rancho, NM on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends are cordially invited. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations may be made to Joy Junction or St. Luke Lutheran Church’s general fund.
