Valentin "Tin" Saavedra

On January 24, 2022 our Dear Lord called another Angel home, Valentin  “Tin” Saavedra, 85. He is proceeded in death by his mother Rafaelita & Step Father Alfonso Ware and his father Jose Saavedra. Also his sons William Saavedra  & Leroy Saavedra.  He is survived by his lovely wife Cecelia Saavedra, married for 59 years.

He leaves behind his son Valentin Saavedra, Jr. and his late wife Bonnie Ganadonegro Saavedra.  Daughters Angela Saavedra, partner Manuel Gamez, Luciana Gonzales & husband Mario Gonzalez, Irene Castillo and partner Eddie Herbert, Sadie Stidstone and partner Estevan Arteaga.

Survived by 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Proceeded in death are 5 brothers & 7 Sisters.  He is survived by 22 Grand Children & 28 Great Grand Children & 5 God Children.  Numerous nieces and nephews, cousins & close friends.

Our husband, father, grandfather will be greatly missed & forever in our hearts.

 His services will be beheld Friday, February 4th, 2022. Visitation from 10:30-11:00 and services immediately after visitation. Services will be held at Daniel’s Funeral Home in Socorro.
