Vallie Fern Morse

Vallie Fern Morse, age 94, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020. She was born in Pharr, TX on August 15, 1925, to Ray and Dora North Hogsett. 
Vallie married the love of her life, Clarence, in March of 1944 and they had 56 years of wedded bliss and for six years they delivered the Albuquerque Journal and enjoyed traveling and fishing together.  She was always working from 18 years of age to her mid-70's.  Her jobs were baker, cook, retail sales, assisted in glass blowing and then she retired.  She was known as "grandma" to all children because of her pretty white hair.  When she wasn't working, she was crocheting afghans, painting with watercolors, sewing clothes for herself and family, as well as embroidering.  She loved her family very much.  

A Graveside burial is pending.
