Verlado "Vern" Vigil

Vigil, Verlado O.
Age 80, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017. He was born in Veguita, NM on March 15, 1936, to Felipe and Anna Vigil. Vern attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Belen, NM. He also served in the US. Army. Vern worked as an independent contractor at Vigil Flooring. He enjoyed Bowling and was involved in the E San Jose Senior Club. Vern will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, brothers, Espidiron, Delfin,Timoteo Vigil; sisters, Senovia Cordova and Maria Griego; and granddaughter Ana Vigil.
Verlado is survived by his sons, Derek Vigil and Paul Vigil both of Albuquerque, Armand Landavazo (Rachel) of Topeka, KS. Allan Vigil (Louise) of Los Lunas, NM and Gerald Vigil (Tammy) of Albuquerque, NM; siblings Jose Vigil (Dorothy), Juan Vigil (Linda), Rita Chavez (Johnny), Richard Vigil (Dolores), Fran Snively (Tom), Henry Vigil (Lorraine) and Walter Vigil (Gloria).  
A Rosary will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 - at 9:30am at Our Lady of Belen, Church St, Belen, NM 87002, with Mass to follow. Interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
