Vernell Skillet"" Watson

WATSON -- Vernell "Skillet" Watson was called home on June 20, 2009. Skillet was born on March 31, 1933 in Tyler, Texas to Woody Mae Hall. He was a long time resident of Albuquerque, NM and retired from G.E. after 45 years of service. He is survived by his loving children Darnell Watson of Albuquerque, NM, Carolyn Watson-Dove of Sierra Vista, AZ, Alice Watson-Aikens of Aurora, CO, Michael Watson of Phoenix, AZ, and Keisha Watson of Albuquerque, NM, sister Deloris Davis of Aurora CO, 11 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving beloved uncle and aunt Seth and Lullaby Warren of Clovis, NM and a host of other family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Pallbearers will be Darnell Watson, Michael Watson, Haywood Watson, Franklin Dove, Michael Boldon and Frank Dove. Honorary Pallbearer will be George Fisher.
