Vernon Leon Palmgren

Vernon L. Palmgren, 68, of Farmington, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, in San Francisco, Calif. He was born Jan. 20, 1941, in Colby, Kan., to Virgil and Ellen Palmgren. Vernon was married to Lenna Gayle in 1960, in Monte Vista, Colo. Vernon and Lenna moved to Farmington in 1977. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Kelly Palmgren. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lenna Gayle Palmgren; daughters, Gina Hobaugh and Debra Klein; sons, Darren Palmgren and Kevin Palmgren; brothers, Eddie, Gerald and Randall Palmgren; sisters, Sandra McKenzie and Jaradee Feagans; and by 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
