Veronica Barbara Garcia, age 29, was embraced by our Lord and taken to eternal life on April 15, 2015. She was born December 2, 1985 in Albuquerque, NM. Veronica is survived by her husband, James Garcia; step-daughter, Victoria; mother-in-law, Tina (Ernie) Lujan; her parents, Anthony and Julie Salas; brothers, Aaron (Destiny) Salas and Eddie Dougger; grandparents, Leroy Salas and Dolores Ortiz; great-grandfather, John Ortiz; three nephews; four nieces; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Lea Salas; great-grandparents: Aaron and Dora Salas; Jennie Ortiz; Manuel and Libraba Gurule; Ignacio and Rosario Segura; grand-parents, Tobias and Lucy Gurule, and Nancy Salas; uncles, Toby Gurule Jr. and Leroy Gurule; aunts, Olga Rubio and Judy Salas; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Veronica will be greatly missed by family and friends. A Visitation will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 5:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 2400 Southern Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM. A second Rosary will be recited Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 S. Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM. Inurnment follows at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery.
