Vicki L. Peoples

Vicki Leah Peoples, 57, was granted her angel wings on July 10, 2012. Her final days were spent surrounded by friends and family that Vicki touched in so many ways. Throughout her shirt, yet very memorable life. Vicki was born on May 14, 1955 to mother Rutellia Peoples and father Curtis Joe Hill. In 1973 Vicki finished her High School education and graduated from Albuquerque High School. She also attended two years of college at University of Albuquerque. She worked her whole life in the customer service field until she retired at a young age. Vicki's life seemed way to short to many of us, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time which one lives. Vicki spent most of her time with family and friends. She enjoyed our family gatherings, sports, and shopping. Vicki is survived by her long life partner Joe Williams, her son Joseph Williams; brother, Jerry Peoples and his five children; brother, Derick Peoples and his nine children; brother, Gary Peoples and his two children; sister, Tanya Peoples, and her three children; brother Willie Jean Hill and sister Christine Williams, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. (1509 Edith SE)
