Victor Anthony Cordova

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Victor Anthony Cordova (“Tony”), age 67, on December 13, 2023.  Victor was a resident of Rio Rancho, NM. He was preceded in death by his bio-parents, Lucio and Barbara Cordova, parents Alex and Rose Sapien, brothers Vince and Joseph Cordova, daughter Rosa Duran, and sister Gloria Cordova.  Tony is survived by his wife Kathryn Hayes- Cordova of Rio Rancho, NM, son Jasper Cordova (Alecz Rose) of Spanaway, WA, grandson Xavier Street of Olympia, WA, granddaughter Luna Lynn Cordova of Spanaway, WA, grandson Caspian Wolff of Spanaway, WA  brother Tomas Sapian (Edie) of San Diego, CA, sister Charlene Sapien of San Diego, CA, sister Connie Howe (Chuck) of Angel Fire, NM, sister Natalie Trujillo (Tim) of Raton, NM, and all remaining family, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will also be remembered by his beloved pets, Sasha, Brandy and Chloe.

Tony graduated from Morse Senior High School in 1974 in San Diego, California and went on to join the army for nine years becoming highly decorated and receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Expert (Rifle), Sharpshooter (Hand Grenade), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon.  After serving our country, Tony went into Law Enforcement for Immigration and Customs.  Tony always enjoyed photography, travel, hiking, and collecting various items. Tony was also a member of Sagebrush Church.  Services will be conducted by the family.  No funeral or memorial services will be held.
