Victor Frank Tafoya

Tafoya, Victor F.

Age 64, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021. He was born October 14, 1956 in Albuquerque, NM to Leo Tafoya and Fabiola Tafoya. He is survived by his mother, brother Michael Tafoya, and sister Dorella Tafoya.

 

Ruby: Victor was like a father to me. He helped me throughout my life. Victor continued to take me to church to hear the Word of God. Victor was a very strong believer in Christ. Victor loved his family so much. Victor was a good person. Victor earned the Kingdom of Heaven. We love him and will miss him dearly.

 

Mom: Victor was a blessing in my life. He would go out of his way for Ruby and I. Victor never though we were a burden in his life. He did it all and never left us. Ruby and I were his first priority. He never complained of taking care of us. He would tell us get up early, tomorrow we’re gonna be gone for the day. I’m taking you to the casino so you can go eat your chile fries and play the machines. And he would give me his bingo money that he won and he said I’ll save it for you so we can go back again. Victor was a very strong believer in Christ. Even till the last day he prayed and believed that he would enter into the Kingdom of God. I’m going to miss you Victor. I love you.

 

Doidil: Victor it was a blessing these last 5 ½ months that I got to spend with you. You showed me how to be strong and to have faith. You never complained that you were in pain. I always asked you “are you feeling ok.” And you would say “I’m fine.” The strength you had was so awesome and that only came from the Lord. Victor I am so happy that the Lord blessed me with you. Our journey together brought us closer and our faith stronger. I loved it when I would tease you and call you “my Bubble Butt.” Your smile was all I needed to see. I just want to say that Victor was a strong man. Having cancer, a heart attack, and being diabetic, he had the strength of a lion. I am going to miss you. I love you.

 

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021, 10:00 A.M. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
