Victoria Barela

BARELA-Victoria Barela, 83, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went home to be with our Lord, September 3, 2009. Victoria was born March 26, 1926 in Sabinal NM to Jose Chavez and Ramona Lopez Chavez. Victoria was preceded in death by her brothers Emilio Chavez, Gregorio Chavez and Juan Chavez. Victoria is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Mariano B. Barela, her children Angie Gomez and husband Eddie, Cipry Barela, Kathy Barela Swartz and husband Chris, and Mariano C. Barela, Jr., & wife Ruth, 7 grandchildren, Michelle, Erica, Jose, Magin, Arianna, Greg and Eric, 5 great grandchildren, Elijah, Gabriella, Alexia, Kaleb and Joshua. 2 sisters, Martina Brown of Savannah, GA, Ramona Jacks, 3 brothers, Nestsor Chavez, Gene Chavez and Frank Chavez.
