Victoria Lynn Sandoval

Victoria Lynn Petrey Sandoval of Peralta, NM, age 50 (Despite insisting she was 29 for the past 20 years) was called to be with our Lord on September 28th, 2024.

She married her loving husband of 21 years, Stephen Sandoval on June 7, 2003.

Victoria was very highly intelligent with a quick Witt and a contagious laugh. She was loved by all who knew her. She left a lasting impression on everybody she met, and especially her kids who will live on through all of her lessons and humor. 

Victoria loved being home and raising her family. Her kids were everything to her. She was a selfless mother who always made sure her kids had anything they needed and wanted before herself. 

Cooking was Victoria’s passion and gift, which earned her the nickname from people (and the dogs) “The Food Lady”. Her cooking will be greatly missed, as most of her recipes were in her head. 

Victoria had a pure compassion and a gentle, kind, loving, and very generous heart. She loved the outdoors, camping, and fishing. She also loved her books. 

Victoria is preceded in death by her father, Doyle Petrey and brother, Linton Petrey. 

She leaves behind her mother, Mary Petrey; her husband, Stephen Sandoval; her son’s, Christopher Petrey and Samuel Sandoval; her daughters, Marina Patton and Stephanie Sandoval; her grandchildren, Jaxon and Wren Patton; along with her brother and four sisters; many nieces and nephews; and by all other family members and friends.

She will be missed sorely by all who knew her!
