Moya, Victoria “Vicky” Stella
Victoria “Vicky” Stella Moya, age 89 was called home by her heavenly Father on April 1, 2017 and is now at peace. Victoria was born August 28, 1927. Victoria was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, godmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Victoria will be remembered for her love of her family and friends.

Vicky was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Albert Moya. She is survived by her children: son, Lawrence Moya and wife, Della; son, Richard Moya and wife, Melda; son, Nestor Moya and wife, Darlene; daughter, Marie Acosta and husband, Leo; daughter, Judy Moya-Martinez; daughter, Marlene Baca and husband, Kevin; ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three godchildren: Carlos Moya, Stella Rooks, Eddie Lucero; four sisters: Rosa Chavez, Corrina Martinez, Theresa Trujillo, and Priscilla Anaya; one brother, Leroy Baca; two sisters-in-law: Lugie Baca and Sylvia Baca.

The family would like to express a special thanks to all the caretakers: Virginia Mares, Erica Espinosa, Diane Andrade, America Rosales; the nurses: Amy, Ann, and Gabby and nursing assistants: JoAnn, Laura, Ashley from Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care and assistance.

A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.

The Pallbearers will be: Ricky Moya; Michelle Gutierrez; Mario Moya; Carlos Moya; Fernando Moya; Julian Moya; Marissa Baca; Jessica Roble; Victoria Martinez; Ricardo Gutierrez.
