Funeral services for Vinton B. Wally, 42, will be 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 13, at Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup. The Rev. Harry Cayaditto will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery. Wally died Sept. 4, 2010, in Crownpoint. He was born Sept. 1, 1968, in Gallup, into the Mexican People Clan for the Two Came to the Water People Clan. Wally attended Crownpoint High School and Navajo Technical College. He was employed with BNP Oil Refinery. His hobbies included drawing, playing basketball and spending time with his children. He worked closely with the late Rev. Phillip Joe. Survivors include his sons, Nathaniel Wally, Sheldon Wally, both of Little Water; daughters, Rachelle Wally, Charmayne Wally, Shirnelle Wally, Sharon Wally, all of Little Water, Rasey Wally of Montezuma Creek, Utah; parents, Ben and Shirley Wally of Little Water; brother, Ben Wally Jr. of Grants; sister, Charity Wally of Little Water; three grandchildren. Wally was preceded in death by Vincent Wally, Leander Wally. Pallbearers will be Brandon Wally, Travis Wally, Nathaniel Wally, Wesley Vandever, Tim Castillo, Lorenzo Begay.
