Viola L. Baca

BACA - Viola L. Baca, age 62, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011. She was born in Magdalena, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM. Viola loved her family, friends, all her relatives and her Church Calvary Chapel. She enjoyed reading Mystery Novels, solving the daily newspapers’ Crypto Quip, dancing, camping and playing the slots at the Casino. She was preceded in death by two sons, Andy and Benny Baca; her mother, Felicita Martinez. Viola is survived by her loving children, Veronica Gurule and boyfriend, Daniel Estrada, Mary Montoya and husband Martin, and Juan Baca and wife Jessica; her precious grandchildren, Michelle, Danielle, and Jesus Gurule, Ricky Arellano, Isaiah Baca, Jerome Baca, Dominic Valdez, Francina Baca, and Vicente Baca; two great-grandchildren; other numerous relatives and a host of friends. Viola will be greatly missed by all. Visitations will be Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd., NE, where Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Pall Bearers will be Matt Jaramillo, Jimmy Gonzales, Jerome Baca, Lorenzo Montoya, Vicente Baca, and Jesus Gurule. Honorary Bearers will be Ricky Arellano,Oliver Estrada,Edward Gurule, Roger Romero, and Rudy Romero. A private Cremation will follow and Inurnment will be conducted at a later date.
